Researchers have found what causes Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS). The medical community had previously believed SIDS was caused by a complication in the infant’s part of the brain that controls the regulation of breathing while sleeping. But in the latest study, researchers found that infants who died from SIDS had lower levels of an enzyme known as Butyrylcholinesterase (BChE).
Norm Macdonald passed away in September of last year at the age of 61, and Netflix has picked up his final comedy special, called “Nothing Special,” and will premiere it at the end of this month.
Pearl Jam drummer Matt Cameron had to sit out the band’s set on Thursday in Oakland, California, after he tested positive for Covid-19, but the show still went on -- Josh Klinghoffer and Richard Stuverud each sat in for part of the set, and they also invited a fan named Josh Arroyo to sit in on drums during the show’s finale of “Yellow Ledbetter.” It was the first time Cameron missed one of their shows in 24 years.
Hulu has passed on the scripted alternate history series about Hillary Clinton called “Rodham,” that has been in development since 2020. They are still trying to find a home for the series, which has Claire Danes and Dakota Fanning attached to play Hillary at different points in her life.
Taco Bell is bringing back the Mexican Pizza, and is planning a TikTok musical starring Dolly Parton to plug it. The Pizza will be back on this Thursday, while Dolly's movie will debut May 26th.
Did this yesterday... Apple has announced it’ll be discontinuing the iPod touch. Since it was the last iPod still available for purchase, this will mark the end of the entire iPod lineup. Guess you’ll have to play music on your phone now… or listen to us!!!
