Passages: Gary Brooker, the frontman of the 1960s rock band Procol Harum, has passed away from cancer at the age of 76. You probably remember them from their 1967 hit, “A Whiter Shade of Pale.” The song was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2018. During his lengthy career, Gary also toured with Eric Clapton and Ringo Starr, and played with Paul McCartney, Bill Wyman, George Harrison, the Alan Parsons Project and many others.
