Collectible dep't: Almost 11-thousand British plates, mugs and tea sets were accidentally marked with the wrong word when they were printed to celebrate Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee. Instead of the word "Jubilee," the word read "Jubbly" on the various items. The CEO of the Wholesale Clearance Company in the UK bought the whole bunch, and now is trying to unload them, thinking that people might shell out big bucks for one of the items marked with a typo.
Whoops! An Ohio couple filed a lawsuit against a fertility clinic and a doctor after they claim that a sperm mix-up resulted in their daughter not being biologically related to the man who raised her.
The couple was going to celebrate their daughter's 30th birthday when she took an Ancestry DNA test in December of 2020 --only to find out she was not at all related to her father. Apparently she was inseminated with another man's sperm who was also at the doctor's office undergoing "fertility treatments" as well.
Movie news: The folks at Sony Studios are putting together a female superhero from the Marvel Comic Book Universe. If you read the comics, you've seen “Madame Web,” which is being made into a film reportedly starring Dakota Johnson. Madame Web appears as a side character in the "Spider Man" comics, but now she'll be a "clairvoyant mutant" who helps Spidey and his allies. This will also be Sony Pictures first modern comic book adaptation to feature a female in the title role.
Häagen-Dazs is introducing a brand-new City Sweets collection, which takes city street food like soft pretzels, crispy churros, and other stuff and makes them into individual ice cream desserts. They include Chocolate Peanut Butter Pretzel ice cream and ice cream bars, Coffee Chocolate Brownie ice cream, Summer Berry Cake Pop ice cream and waffle ice cream bars and more. Look for them in stores around the country in April.
