JUDAS PRIEST guitarist RICHIE FAULKNER is OK after having heart surgery last week. He told Rolling Stone his aorta ruptured while the band was playing in the Louder In Life Festival in Kentucky September 26th. Fortunately, he was rushed to the nearby University Of Louisville's Rudd Heart and Lung Centre where he was given emergency open heart surgery, including parts of his chest. "I'm literally made of metal now," he says.
TINA TURNER --now 81 years old-- just sold the rights to her music catalogue to the BMG music publishing company. No word on how much cash she got for the sale --which included the rights to Tina's name, image, and likeness-- but music industry sources say it could top $50-million dollars. Tina will be inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame as a solo artist in October. She already is inside as a duo with IKE TURNER.
MICHAEL KEATON is now 70 years old, and will return as Batman after 32 years. He played the character in Tim Burton’s 1989 flick “Batman” and its 1992 sequel “Batman Returns.” Now, he'll also return as the Caped Crusader in the upcoming “Flash” film and he told STEPHEN COLBERT his Batman suit still fits him 32 years later.

You won't be able to stream R KELLY videos on his pair of YouTube channels any more since the video network says his conviction for sex trafficking now violates the site’s terms of service. But --his music will still be available on YouTube Music since videos that other users have uploaded to YouTube before aren't considered "reuploads." The network's guidelines only apply to channels that are connected to the creator.
Not so fast food: The folks who work at the Kellogg’s cereal factories in the US went on strike Tuesday. The issue: benefits and vacation time. The 14-hundred workers affected are members of the Bakery, Confectionery, Tobacco Workers and Grain Millers International Union.
Fast food: BURGER KING says they're now testing eight-piece Impossible nuggets at their stores in Des Moines, Iowa, Boston, Massachusetts and Miami, Florida. The company has had Impossible Whoppers on sale for the past two years. They're also launching Ghost Pepper Chicken Nuggets (made with real chicken) for a limited time as well.
Paying more for gas these days? CNBC reports the national average for a gallon of gas is at the highest since 2014, and the average gas price is more than $1 higher than this time last year --$3.22 a gallon.
