--And there's probably more to come...
Getting out --but not till next year: JOHN HINCKLEY, Jr., the guy who tried to assassinate President RONALD REAGAN 40 years ago. He got 35 years in a psych hospital after being found not guilty by reason of insanity. Now, he's reportedly going to be “unconditionally released” after reaching an agreement with federal prosecutors --but not until next June. Hinckley is now 66-years-old and has been living (with certain restrictions) at his mother’s home in Williamsburg, Virginia, since 2016. Now he'll still be required to be on meds and attend individual and group therapy sessions, plus he's banned from contacting Reagan’s children or actress JODIE FOSTER, and will not be able to buy a gun.
Not getting out at all: Lots of British people who live in cities and are facing a shortage of drivers to bring in gasoline. The pandemic there has caused shortages of everything from food to fuel, with some stations having none to see and others limiting the amount of fuel each customer could buy.
More COVID updates: PRESIDENT BIDEN got his COVID-19 booster shot yesterday.
Remember last Friday when SUNNY HOSTIN and ANA NAVARRO were pulled off "The View" because of a positive COVID-19 test? Both women now say their results turned out to be false positives.
Meanwhile, it was just revealed that "Dancing With The Stars" pro CHERYL BURKE has tested positive for COVID-19, despite the fact that she's fully vaccinated. Unfortunately, she'll have to quarantine for 10 days and not be on the show, which she's already won twice.
Tour news: BOB DYLAN announced a new, nationwide tour beginning November second in Milwaukee, WI, to plug his "Rough and Rowdy Ways" album. His website says the tour will run until 2024, so there are more dates being listed on his website. Right now, the tour dates are just thru the beginning of December.
