Olympics: Gotta love PINK, who's offered to pay the fines handed out to the Norwegian women's beach handball team, after they were fined 1,500 euros ($1,770.51) for wearing "improper clothing" to compete. Bottom line, that "improper clothing" was shorts --just like the Men's teams all wear-- instead of bikini bottoms. Pink tweeted "I'm very proud of the Norwegian female beach handball team for protesting sexist rules about their uniform... I'll be happy to pay your fines for you. Keep it up."
The European Handball Federation said the shorts were "not according to the athlete uniform regulations." BILLIE JEAN KING was one of those taking the women's side, tweeting "The sexualization of women athletes must stop."

Movie news: The New York Times reports there's going to be a new "Exorcist" movie series. Universal Pictures and Peacock have made a $450 million “megadeal” to buy a new Exorcist trilogy, which will not be a remake of the old films, but new films based on the old series.
If you owned a World War II tank, where would you keep it? An 84-year-old German guy was keeping the tank, along with an anti-aircraft gun and a torpedo in his basement in the northern town of Heikendorf. That was six years ago, and now he's been taken to court and told he's gotta get rid of his collection of Nazi memorabilia. But there's a American museum interested in the Panther tank and other collectors interested in portions of the collection. Unfortunately, he could get a suspended sentence and a fine of up to 500-thousand Euros ($590,235).

Finally: Coffee, anyone? Turns out that morning cup of coffee could increase the risk of dementia. But you'll have to drink A LOT of coffee --not just a couple of cups in the AM. A new study from the South Australian Health and Medical Research Institute tested nearly 18-thousand participants in their 30s and author KITTY PHAM says “Essentially, drinking more than six cups of coffee a day may be putting you at risk of brain diseases such as dementia and stroke.” The study claims six or more cups a day was linked with a 53% increased risk of dementia. And brain imaging so much coffee is associated with brain shrinkage as well. Look for details in the journal Nutritional Neuroscience.
