Divorced? Are you making alimony or spousal support payments? Then you may relate to DR. DRE's predicament. Dre has reportedly been ordered to pay his ex-wife, NICOLE, $293,306 per month in spousal support. Basically, that amounts to around 3-million, 500-thousand dollars a year, until Nicole gets remarried, enters a domestic partnership or dies.
Question for listeners: Fair or unfair --your call... and why?
Music: Good news for ROLLING STONES fans --their "No Filter" tour has been rescheduled for this fall. All previously purchased tickets will be honored for the rescheduled dates by Ticketmaster; the tour will kick off in St. Louis on September 26th. Their tour was originally postponed because MICK JAGGER reportedly needed time to recover from his heart surgery. CNN reports some new dates have been added and pre-sale tickets for the Stones' New Orleans, Los Angeles and Las Vegas shows will go on sale on July 28. The general sale starts July 30.
More music: The BBC has reported that ERIC CLAPTON now refuses to play any concert venue which requires vaccines for concertgoers, calling it a "discriminated audience." Part of the reason may be that Eric had a "severe" reaction after taking the AstraZeneca vaccine. We'll see if any changes are made for Eric's US concerts, scheduled to start in September.
Fire: BEYONCÉ and JAY-Z's $2.4 million dollar New Orleans mansion reportedly caught fire Wednesday night, and lasted two hours before firefighters were able to put it out. The six-bedroom, six-and-a-half bathroom home was originally built back in 1927 and began its life as a Westminster Presbyterian church. Then it was home to an eight-dancer ballet company before being converted into a regular home.
Ka-boom! Ten people were hurt in an explosion Wednesday afternoon at the Dippin’ Dots factory in Paducah, Kentucky. And, no, it wasn't the dots that exploded --turns out it was an explosion from a truck which was unloading some tanks of liquid nitrogen, which is used to flash-freeze the dots. Ten people of 11 people inside were injured in the big bang, but fortunately, no one was killed.
Are you on Twitter? The company announced yesterday that it has more than 206 million daily active users, which sent its stock zooming up more than 6 percent on Wall Street in after-hours trading.
Question for listeners: who's your favorite celebrity on Twitter?
Fast food: The folks at Del Taco have announced some new breakfast treats --three new new Double Cheese Breakfast Tacos. If you've got their mobile app, you'll get a coupon for one of the three tacos --their Egg & Cheese Taco, a Hashbrowns & Beef Taco or a Hashbrowns & Bacon Taco --with any other breakfast purchase.
