Tube news: For those of you who always watched “College Bowl” on TV and attempted to see if you knew the answers --it's b-a-a-a-ack! NBC has picked up the show and football great PEYTON MANNING will host, assisted by his brother, COOPER, starting this June. The show will pit three colleges against each other in the first half, then the top-two schools will go head-to-head in the finale.
Would you buy a pizza if it was being delivered by a driverless car? In Houston, TX, DOMINO’s is teaming up with the self-driving delivery company, NURO, to bring the pizza to your door. Well, not exactly. Maybe to your driveway. If you order the pizza, you get text alerts when it's on the way, and a PIN number to pick up the order when the robot delivery vehicle arrives. Have fun!
More fast food: The folks at White Castle are celebrating the company's 100th birthday by offering a 10-sack of their Original Sliders for $5.99. It's available at participating locations for a limited time, and it's a buck more expensive in NY/NJ and Chicago.
It was the Israeli intelligence team which apparently made that cyber-attack on Iran’s main nuclear facility on Sunday. It happened after officials at Iran's Natanz reactor restarted spinning advanced centrifuges that could speed up the production of enriched uranium for that country. So once more there's a delay in Iran’s nuclear program, keeping them from developing enough nuclear material to build a bomb.
You've undoubtedly heard about ‘Black Lives Matter’ protests, but what about ‘White Lives Matter’? Sunday there was a rally in a plaza near the Huntington Beach pier in California. Police arrested 12 people, including two who were using boom boxes to spread the word. No serious injuries were reported, but NBC News reports a scuffle broke out after a guy among the 500 protesters was spotted carrying a "Trump 2020" sign.
