Apple's expected to roll out its iPhone 12 next Tuesday with hyper-fast 5G speeds, estimated by some experts to be 10 to 20 times faster than the current 4G wireless networks. But Reuters reports very few people will have the 5G speed because most local networks use a low-band wireless spectrum that is slower than high-band spectrum, but more reliable over longer distances. So, in other words, you'll have a lot fewer dropouts on long distance calls, but not faster.

And, as we mentioned yesterday, Amazon Prime Day is officially here, with 48 hours of deals on electronics, home appliances, fashion, sporting goods, outdoor gear, entertainment and more. Amazon says to expect more than one million deals this year and it'll last through Wednesday night.
