Good news: filming has restarted on "The Matrix 4" over in Germany after safety protocols were raised so that the staff --and actors-- were safe from the COVID-19 virus.
Good news, too about the upcoming remake of the 1987 film, “Planes, Trains, and Automobiles.” Deadline reports WILL SMITH and KEVIN HART will star in and be producing the film about two guys trying to get home for Thanksgiving despite tons of problems getting in their way.
We told you about the home used for filming "The Golden Girls" TV series being up for sale for a mere $3-million dollars. It was reportedly been sold for $4-million, so if you were looking for a 3-thousand square foot home in lovely Brentwood, CA, you're outta luck.
Last Thursday we mentioned that AMC Theaters, the nation's largest theater chain, were planning to become the first movie chain to open across the country beginning this Thursday (tomorrow). However, some of their plans were shot down by a judge yesterday (Tuesday), who said the theatres will remain closed in pandemic response and the order was not an infringement on theaters’ First Amendment rights. The lawsuit compared theatres to churches, which are allowed to remain open --and claimed the state was discriminating against theatres. The judge wasn't buying, and said “By closing only indoor movie theaters, defendants are leaving open ‘ample alternative methods of communication’ in the form of outdoor movie theaters and at-home streaming options.”
Ch-ch-ch-changes for the upcoming season of “Dancing With the Stars,” which has changed its hosts, TOM BERGERON and ERIN ANDREWS, and substituted TYRA BANKS, and yesterday announced on “Good Morning America,” that the season will premiere on Monday, September 14. The network also said they've put together details so that the dancers --both pro and celebrities-- will stay apart and be housed apart (except, of course, for partners), in order to stay safe during the pandemic.
RANDY RAINBOW's latest concoction is a parody song about Democratic Vice Presidential candidate KAMALA HARRIS to the tune of "Camelot." Catch it on YouTube HERE. As you know, he also does parody songs about President Trump as well, so this might be considered "equal time," LOL.
