No change in the top-3 movies over the weekend... (1) "Bad Boys for Life" with $17-million and change in its third week; (2) "1917" and (3) "Dolittle." The new film, "Gretel & Hansel," popped into fourth with around $6-million in ticket sales. BLAKE LIVELY's new spy thriller, “The Rhythm Section,” tanked in ninth-place with a $2.9 million.
If ya missed the Puppy Bowl 16 because you were sucking up the booze ahead of last night's Super Bowl 54, you'll be glad to know that Team Fluff beat Team Ruff, 63-59, winning the Lombarky Trophy.
Over at half-time of the Super Bowl, it's important to note that SHAKIRA turned 43 yesterday --kind of a treat to celebrate her birthday on national TV.
And while we're on the Super Bowl, Fox News reported the Feds --U.S. Customs and Border Protection, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) announced they'd seized $123 million dollars worth of counterfeit Super Bowl merchandise in Miami on Thursday --although since it was counterfeit, the 176-thousand items (including jewelry, hats, phones, fake jerseys and other stuff) weren't nearly that expensive.
