DWAYNE "The Rock" JOHNSON is the big guy this year --he holds Forbes magazine's title of highest-paid actor of 2018. Dwayne, who was in the number three spot last year, pulled down $89.4 million bucks last year, and even though that was less than the year before, when he made $119 million, it was still enough to top everybody else. The rest of the top-10:

1. Dwayne Johnson, $89.4 millionOver in Germany, the owners of the Tatzmania theme park have shut down their brand-new "Eagle Fly" ride, after a video of the ride showed when it was in motion, it resembled a pair of "flying swastikas." Whoops!
The management at the park now says that they'll be changing the ride to have each arm of the ride with three arms instead of four, thus cutting out the resemblance.Monday is reportedly the big launch date for Kentucky Fried Chicken's new Mac and Cheese Bowls. The brand-new treat will combine KFC's rich and creamy cheddar mac and cheese, topped with KFC's crispy popcorn chicken, and sprinkled with a three-cheese blend. And for those of you who want a spicier version, you can also get a bowl loaded with KFC's Nashville Hot sauce on top.
You may have heard about the online petition to rename the street in front of Trump Tower "Barack Obama Avenue." As of Thursday afternoon, more than 440,375 people have signed on to the MoveOn.org petition. And yes, if the NY City Council agrees to the request, it would mean that Manhattan's Trump Tower would be located on President Barack H. Obama Avenue.
However, even if the petition gets enough signatures, the NYC guidelines specify that a person has to be dead for at least two years before a street can be named after them. And, according to the local ABC affiliate in New York, there's also a moratorium on street renamings in that area, so it may just be wishful thinking.

Kirsten herself will be getting a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame this coming Thursday (Aug 29) at 11:30 in the Category of Motion Pictures at 7076 Hollywood Boulevard near the Gateway to the Walk of Fame at La Brea. Filmmaker SOFIA COPPOLA and actor JESSE PLEMONS will be on hand to help unveil the star. You may not realize it, but Kirsten has over forty feature film and TV credits to her name.
