If you're divorced and have gotten married again --this story should appeal to you.
HARRY MACKLOWE, a big-time New York City developer, put up a picture of the woman he's marrying today (Thursday)... on the same building where his ex-wife still lives --the condo complex at 432 Park Ave., billed as the tallest residential tower in the western hemisphere. It's a 42-feet-by-24-feet picture of them, smiling side by side.
Obvious question for your listeners: would you do it if you had the $$$ ? The follow-up: what did you do specifically to tick off your ex?Everybody was talking about ALEX TREBEK's revelation yesterday that he'd been diagnosed with Stage 4 pancreatic cancer. So... what are his chances? Sad to say, since pancreatic cancer is usually only discovered late, about 95 percent of people with pancreatic cancer die from it. During the early stages, when the tumor would be most treatable, there are usually no symptoms at all. The disease has a five-year survival rate of less than 10-percent.
Looks like IDRIS ELBA will be replacing WILL SMITH as Deadshot in the "Suicide Squad" sequel. Production is scheduled to begin in September, and so far none of the co-stars have been mentioned, although it's assumed that MARGOT ROBBIE will be back as Harley Quinn.
TV update: As long as we're on the subject of comic-book heroes, word is that the upcoming eighth season of "Arrow" will be its last, with 10 episodes during the 2019-2020 season.
