Movie news... ANNE HATHAWAY will star as the Grand High Witch in BOB ZEMECKIS upcoming movie, "The Witches." She'll be playing the same role that ANJELICA HUSTON did in the 1990 version about a seven-year-old boy who runs into a group of real-life witches.
In other movie news, there's a new, live-action of "The Hunchback of Notre Dame" in the works --as you might imagine, at Disney where they're slowly doing live-action films of all their classic animated movies. No word on stars yet.See ya: BOB COSTAS has officially hung up the microphone at NBC sports, telling the NY Post "It's all settled quietly and happily for all concerned." Costas is still employed by the MLB Network and sez he'd be open to hosting a talk show if the right opportunity comes along.
More TV news --Dog the Bounty Hunter is coming back to reality TV --specifically WGN/America-- in a new series called (wait for it...) "Dog's Most Wanted." Variety says the series will likely debut in the second half of 2019 with Dog, Beth and their team, known as "The Dirty Dozen," pursuing a "bucket list" of wanted fugitives.
That 'Cash me outside' girl DANIELLE 'Bhad Bhabie' BREGOLI has scored a nice gig as the face of CopyCat Beauty. The New York Post claims her deal is worth nearly a million bucks and will entice women to buy factory-priced alternatives for popular beauty products.
The Wall Street Journal reports Motorola is looking to bring back the RAZR flip phone from the early 2000s as a smartphone with a foldable screen. However, it'll only be available at Verizon stores and will reportedly cost around $15-hundred bucks.
What's weirder??? A Taiwanese woman who was on her way back from China and stopped at by Taiwanese customs after they noticed she was walking funny --because she had 24 gerbils strapped to her legs, under her skirt.
...or...
A 43-year-old man who was stopped by airport security on a trip from Berlin to Israel with a boa constrictor hidden in his pants. One of the security guards happened to notice "a large bulge" in his trousers and searched him, finding the nearly 16-inch snake wrapped in a cloth bag for the trip. -
