See ya! 86-year-old RAMONA MAXINE LUND is behind bars today, accused of beating her 89-year-old husband to death with her walking cane. Once again, Florida rears its ugly head in the news. Police were summoned to the couple's Florida home after neighbors called the cops when they saw Ramona standing over her husband's body. They thought he'd fallen and couldn't get up. But when the cops arrived, they quickly figured out he'd suffered blunt force trauma to the head, and officers later found the cane covered in blood inside the home. The Pensacola News Journal says prosecutors are now working to determine if Ramona Lund has the mental capacity to stand trial.
The best accountants say if you win a lot of money in a lottery, you should get some financial advice before you cash the ticket. One other thing --you shouldn't tell people about it until the money's in the bank.
Case in point: the Vacaville, California, man who told his 35-year-old roommate, ADUL SAOSONGYANG, that he'd won $10-grand with a scratch-off lottery ticket. But when he went to cash it in the next day, lottery officials told him his ticket wasn't a winner at all.
Turns out the roomie had gone out, bought a similar ticket and substituted it for his roommate's winner while the guy was sleeping. And when he went to cash it, found out the ticket was actually worth $10-million bucks and he could claim the cash the next business day.
Fortunately, by then, the real ticket holder had gone to the police, and the roommate was arrested the next day when he went to collect the $10-million.Not gonna happen: The annual Consumer Electronics Show is underway in Las Vegas (thru the 11th) with some interesting new items as usual --but one thing you won't see is a sex toy for women. The folks at the manufacturer, Lora DiCarlo, said they had been invited to show off the robotic vibrator but later the guys at the Show pulled their invite, saying the apparatus didn't fit into any of their categories. However, the folks at the company say the Consumer Electronics Show organizers discriminate against women, and that it deserved to be shown off because the product had designed in partnership with a robotics laboratory at Oregon State University and had eight patents pending for "robotics, biomimicry, and engineering feats."
In addition, as last year's show, they debuted a RealDoll sex robot named Harmony, and this year, an shuttle bus will be taking conventioneers to a legal brothel for a sex-video experience controlled by an Amazon Echo speaker.Closing: A Parisian restaurant where diners enjoy their food butt-nekkid is closing down because they can't get enough customers. The cafe 'O'Naturel' is shutting its doors despite good reviews from people who take off their clothes to enjoy oysters, snails and foie gras.
The restaurant, which opened for business in November of 2017, requires diners to leave their clothes in a cloakroom, along with their mobile phones, so you can't take photos of other customers. The customers are then supplied with slippers to walk to their table, although women --who make up 40 per cent of the restaurant's clientele-- may keep their heels on. In case you're wondering, the wait staff is clothed. -
