Look what's for sale:
Want to buy HILLARY CLINTON's car? Make this guy an offer.
A former White House employee is selling Clinton's 1986 Oldsmobile Cutlass. Retired gardener MIKE LAWN (yes that's his name) bought the car at a White House auction in 2000 to give to his daughter when she turned 16. But, his daughter refused to drive it because it looked like "an old lady's car." The four-door sedan comes complete with a 1990 "Clinton for Governor" sticker, Arkansas license plates, and a title that still reads: Hillary Rodham Clinton. The classic car only has around 32-thousand miles on it.
Lawn wants to sell it, but says he's unsure what to ask for it. The car itself is valued at $87-hundred dollars, but that's without taking into consideration it's presidential history. (Still)Popped by the cops:
Cute little JAKE LLOYD --who rose to fame as young Anakin Skywalker in "Star Wars: Episode I"-- is getting some desperately needed help. The former child star was arrested on a bevy of charges last June in South Carolina, but was transferred from jail to a psychiatric facility. His mother, LISA RILEY, tells TMZ.com the 28-year-old suffers from schizophrenia, and he's seeing major improvements, but so far there's no word on his release date. (Lee)
Grace notes from Vinny Marino:
LED ZEPPELIN's "Stairway To Heaven" is headed to court. The Wall Street Journal says a judge in Los Angeles ruled on Friday that there is enough evidence to allow a trial that may or may not prove that JIMMY PAGE stole the opening riff of "Taurus" by the band SPIRIT for one of the most familiar songs of all time. The late RANDY WOLFE, who was Spirit's guitarist, wrote "Taurus" in the mid 1960's, while "Stairway" was part of 1971's "Led Zeppelin IV." A jury trial is scheduled to begin on May 10th, but JOHN PAUL JONES won't have to be there. Led Zep's bass player was removed from the initial lawsuit. (Marino)
Filling a need:
Just what you Zombie fans wanted --an app for your mobile phone which you can blow your spare time playing.
Variety reports the AMC game, called "Fear the Walking Dead: Dead Run," is now available on Apple's App Store for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch --just in time for the second season premiere of "Fear the Walking Dead" this past Sunday night.
In the game, you'll get to play your favorite character from the show and run (or stagger) through Los Angeles. -
